Chitra Bhatia is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant based in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia. She immigrated to Canada in 2011, starting her journey in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and moving to Vancouver in 2015. Chitra is a graduate of the Immigration Consulting Diploma is a member in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).

Chitra is a strategic leader and consultant with over 20 years of global experience in the areas of business and operations, strategic planning, marketing, and consulting. Originally from Delhi, India, she graduated with a Master’s of Science (M.S.) in Consultancy Management from BITS Pilani, an institute known for its high standards of education and prestige in the industry.

Before immigrating to Canada, she was working as a Vice-President for Sanako Oy, a Finnish company, during which time she helped them establish their business in India. Prior to working with Sanako Oy, Chitra was a Business Head for Hughes Global Education, managing their business and operations. Hughes Global Education is a premier interactive and onsite learning-based education and training service initiative by Hughes Networks Systems, spread across 155 classrooms in 75 cities. During her tenure with Hughes, Chitra provided guidance and oversight for the business, marketing, admissions, and delivery of programs executed through more than 10 universities, colleges, and technical institutes, including:

  • Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata; Lucknow and Kozikode (IIMC, IIML, IIMK)
  • Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (University) (IIFT)
  • Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi; Mumbai (IITD, IITM)
  • Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA)
  • XLRI, Jamshedpur

Chitra was also a National Head for Kelly Services – Kelly Information Technology Recruitment division in India. Kelly is a worldwide leader in the staffing industry.

It is Chitra’s determination and drive to succeed that pushed her to apply for Canadian immigration. She worked hard to find a job before she moved to Canada, and ended up working with a Canadian college as Regional Director of Marketing and Admissions. She strongly believes that success in life comes when you simply refuse to give up, with goals so strong that obstacles, failure, and loss only act as motivation.
