Burcu Akyol, RCIC / CRIC

Burcu Akyol is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), educator, and founder of Northern Pathways Immigration Consulting in Toronto. Since 2019, she has supported clients across economic immigration programs, family sponsorship, and temporary residence, with a strong focus on economic pathways.
With a background in education and leadership, Burcu brings a practical, thoughtful approach to her work, grounded in strategy, continuous learning, and careful positioning. She is also an instructor in Queen’s University's GDipICL Program, where she supports future RCICs in developing practical skills, sound judgment, and confidence for professional practice.
Alongside her consulting and teaching, Burcu is passionate about using technology and social media to improve client experience, streamline operations, and build trust in a modern immigration practice. She believes that thoughtful innovation helps RCICs serve clients more effectively and remain competitive in a changing landscape.
