Since 2015, CAPIC has recognized outstanding students in the field of immigration through the Award of Academic Excellence. As the recognized voice of Canada's immigration consulting profession, we don't just celebrate top academic performance — we invest in the next generation of RCICs as they launch their careers.

Who's eligible

CAPIC partners with Queen's University and the Université de Montréal — the two institutions offering a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law. Each university nominates two students per graduating cohort, based on the highest-grade point average, and forwards those nominations to CAPIC.

What winners receive

• An Award crest
• Two free years of CAPIC membership (Student or Regular Subscription Package)
• A $1,700 cash award

How it's presented

Winners are recognized at their graduation ceremony, presented by members of CAPIC's Board of Directors, our CEO, and our Education Manager.
